What about, if not very disappointing ..... I have known this brewery in the golden years, but the!! I order a salad nose, I used a lyon sausage with pistachios, do not wait for my guests who have received their entrees so I accept the sausage, bland, no taste, but the worst is yet to come, and cod mousseline is olive oil. I think this puree was only a bag of powder diluted in water, no seasoning and olive oil innexistante. Presentation zero cold plate ..... cooking the cod perfect!! In short ...... very disappointing
Place that would "chic", but which turns out to be a brewery tap-catching and noisy for people of all persuasions frica, but not really good ways ... Service to the hussar, "Offenbach" even tiny tables (try to enjoy a pleasant plateau seafood lovers on a table 50 cms beside )..., paper towels, no water, currents of mysterious but unstoppable. Crustaceans pricey, piece of beef charred on the surface but not hot inside, warm coffee, fried in 5 euros! The grand finale is the case to say, when paying by card, when the (too) weird electronic machine note your code as "tip" in addition to the bill! I go out a lot, but I did not know this model! Disappointing evening, we did that surprised by the splendor of the toilet! But even for 60 euro cover, I have other best places to offer!
Brasseries Georges remain for me a safe bet the gastronomic landscape of Brussels. Both in terms of food (good and constant quality), but also in receiving customer. We had booked a table for 15 people, ultimately reduced to 9 at the last moment. Their reaction was perfect (and very professional).
Yes, but will find a restaurant that over the years remains at a level equal (quality, service, reception ...)! Good luck! this is what we expect from a restaurant. finally me. cher.N but does it matter what diner is "proportionally" dear aussi.N 'of where the dish of the day is at 9-12 € no?
True, the Brasseries Georges is known and recognized by the beautiful customer Brussels for years. But it is more concerned about the quality of the cuisine and service that the "hipness of the place. Allow between 20 and 50 € according to your desires. And did you know that you accept past 23h?!
The first time I was there, I told myself that I set foot there because we had booked well in advance and when we finally (3 persons) arrived on site we still have to wait a full quarter of time before we put a shabby table I refused and thus we still had a good quarter of an hour we finally placed. Then rebelotte, bass waiting to be served was good but not breaking bricks! Then I returned and it was better and then finally to force them to go, everything was almost perfect and then see, I knew he had to be used for a good''Treaty''(that is sad but good). habitués.Assez and older audience rather noisy but sympa.Service Parking.
Wait for a table when I booked and I make the effort to arrive on time is something that I find unacceptable. Wait gesticulating half an hour to place my order is beyond comprehension. Make me serve a different wine than the one I ordered confined to the scam pure and simple "ah yes but there was more." As in the worst Parisian brasseries, service is speedy and contemptuous, while the quality of course is correct.
Lunch with family
Went for lunch on Saturday with family. We arrived a bit before 1 and were seated immediately (we had reservations).
Food:
I had oysters as a starter, nicely served, very simple. They have a vary big oyster card so you should be able to find some you like.
As a main I had gambas with taboulet and it was nicely served, the gambas prepared so that they were easy to peal. For dessert I had the tarte au sucre, very sweet but very good.
Our whole table was very happy with the food, no complaints whatsoever. The prices was about 275 for 5 people. So not the cheapest... (4 starters, 5 mains, 2 deserts, 3 coffees, 2 bottles of wine and a bottle of water)
Service
This is a typical brasserie and the service is adapted to it. You could say it is cold but I find it to be very typical 'parisien'.
Ambience
It is not a place where you go for the warm welcome but for the nice decor and the food. There is a parking service so you do not have to look for a parking space, very convenient.
Overall, a good place to go for the decor but I do agree that there might be places that have good seafood as well and are maybe a bit cheaper and with a warmer ambience.
Went there...with group of 10 people....service was horrible......food was mediocre.....in a fish restaurant you would expect a fish knife when eating sole....Sole was rubber with the type of fish offered,,,,,again...service was extremely rude...and food was served in a mediocre way.....
The noise level and temperature were high.....so after dinner we decided to sit outside for after dinner drink....after waiting for 25 minutes for service, I asked for service.......while the terrace was empty and after having spent 500 Eurs + for dinner, we were asked if we planned on eating??
Definitely not worth 1/2 the price...the seafood may be fresh. and just as fresh or more..but Cafe Maris down the street is a better bargain...and Ft Jaco restaurant in Ft Jaco hands down is better on both food quality and SERVICE

French
Indeed, the tables are small and closely spaced. Actually it is better to be known and recognized. But the atmosphere Brasserie is perfect and the quality of seafood remains incomparable. I remain a fan and I go there regularly ... the best way to be recognized!
