To be honest, FANTASTIC!!!! I have been growing my hair for some time now, but after delivering my son, I did not have much time to go to parlors so my hair looked dull, damaged and in a general bad shape. I went in without appointment, the lady listened and explained to the guy what to do, he cut quite a bit, layered the front part and gave me a superb shape!!!!! Plus, they were always friendly and nice to my son who was roaming around playing with the equipment! :-) I highly recommend you to go!!! You will be very satisfied!

After reading all these positive comments I decided also to try to go to Ashido Junko salon. I've been welcomed by (their probably new) male colleague. He and the Japanese lady both listened to me, proposed another idea in order to limit the damage to my hair, which was indeed more convenient. I used to go to Olivier Dachkin before and spend their almost the 4-6 hours for the same job. At Ashido Junko I spent less than 2 hours for refreshing my highlights and correcting my fringe...Altogether I got a fantastic head massage, a CHI sample, -10% student discount and glossy, shiny, blonde locks!!! P.S. The lady didn't touch my hair, the guy did the whole job. (Best head massage I ever had in my life).............Yes, I'll certainly come back.

I really liked that place. I will go again...the 2 japanese ladies were so cute. I've never gotten a haircut so quick that was as well done. She knew exactly what i wanted and what would look good on my face. She truly understands asian hair.

This is the best place I have ever been to, without any shadow of a doubt. I should imagine that even after I move away from Brussels for sunnier climbs, I shall come back here to get my hair cut.

Great experience. Relaxed athmosphere. Attentive, respectful, carying and advising two ladies speaking perfect French and English, the daughter spoke English. I was pleasantly surprised. I was looking for a place where one person will take care of my hair from the beginning to the end! I got a good advice, a cut in a good time and a tea. Affordable prices. Will go there again! to recommend!

I'm so happy with this salon. I will recommand and i will be going there again. They are so kind and polite and did a great job on my hair which is usualy frizzy , uncontrolable,curly and just a mess. I needed a healthy chop after childbirth, and to all mothers out there who is worried about bringing babies to salon, the ladies there were great and was very helpful with my little 5 month old. As far as i'm concerned I didn't feel them using any harsh chemical or spray.

The best Salon in Chatelain,baill.
Mother and daughter work great together.

I had Thermal Reconditioning with Bryan at Junko Hair Salon and really like the result. I used to be his TR client in Manhattan NY and when I moved to GA, couldn't find someone who is really good at TR. But now I found Bryan at Junko Salon. If anyone wants to get TR, should see Bryan. I got my haircut at this salon this morning! It's probably one of the best haircuts I've ever had in my life. I went in with hair all the way down the middle of my back and left with a cute short bob. She listened to exactly what I wanted and then her mom gave me the best blow out ever. To top it off it's Thursday so I got 10 euro off of my cut coming out to a grand total of 34 Euro. I love this place!

Great place run by a couple of Belgian Japanese ladies, just had a very quick and professional haircut done this morning. 20€ and on Thursdays they are offering a discount, of 5-10€. Will definitely be going back there!

I went there, and actually the atmosphere does really make a difference. No stress, complete relax and dedication to the customer, no pushy and a very gentle hand while brushing. The haircut was also very good, and I felt beautiful when I left. I will go back soon!

Ashida Junko is the best salon i ve ever been to! very effective service, extremely attentive to what you say and extremely efficient in their work! I ve being going there since october and I don t intend changing!

This place is definitely overrated. The daughter spent 5 minutes shampooing my hair, 5 minutes cutting it, and another 5 minutes of drying the job was considered "done." My beautiful layers were gone, and now I'm left with choppy hair that looks like what I had when I was in high school. There was nothing positive about this place besides the fact that the shampoo didn't have an annoyingly overpowering smell and she didn't cut my hair shorter than what I wanted her to. It was 39 euros with a 10-euro discount, which was definitely overpriced for what I got. The search for the perfect hairdresser in Brussels continues...

Hi, as far as Ican see, everybody here wrote about HAIRCUTS. Well, I do not intend to have my hair cut. If possible, I will extend it. Do they do something else there, at Ashida, save for haircuts? Color, extensions, treatment etc. ? Thank you for answering.

I went to cut my hair a couple of weeks ago. I went there since all the reviews were really positive. I liked my haircut but it was not great. It was XXX who cut it. She was very attentive to hear what I wanted but she didn't make any suggestions, which I found a bit weird. The haircut was fine but I was not impressed. She took only 5 min to cut it and spend like 20 to dry it and style it. It would have been better the other way around. I guess I have mixed feelings, since they were really nice but the haircut was just average.

I think this is best to avoid if you're a man. Mum just did my hair. She wasn't great to be honest. It was very friendly and nice, but I felt like I was at an expensive barber - in an out quickly, no pre-wash, not a hairdresser in short.
