this is just my type of place! very relaxed, friendly waiting staff, a smoking section and free wifi! The service has been criticised for being too slow but I found that is not the case. If you just signal one of the waiters they come straight away so it just takes a little bit of effort but it's well worth it!

I've been there day before yesterday /12.04.09/ , and I think this place is just perfect,not a long way from centre, but far enough to avoid all that tourist crowd,food really nice, and I don't think that service was slow at all, I think I fell in love with the ginger waiter lol

Good food (check out the hummous sandwich, yum), great location but incredibly slow service. Fine if you've got all night to wait for your beer and all the early hours to plead for the bill. A good lunch location but for the evening, only the very patient should apply...

My reference in the neighborhood for a cheap drink, good service, smoke-free and with a smile. We can not eat much for a few salads, soups and sandwiches. Everything is very fresh. The place is nice and is much frequented by families with young and trendy. It sometimes crosses Arno, sitting at the bottom of coffee. In summer, the terrace is invaded ... and no wonder! In the shade of trees, it feels good. Schedules are tip top, you can still achieve something to eat in the evening after a movie for example. Newspapers available.

From Markten is the cultural center flemish. In addition to exhibitions or theatrical performances, you can just come and have a drink or eat a lil something. Their patio is very pleasant for naturally shaded by trees instead. For cons, the card is simple: soup, undertaker, sandwiches, salads. But do not come asunder for a drink because the atmosphere is pleasant as the terrace, I insist! Then the servers are super nice and it's always the opportunity to practice our 2nd language. (That said, they speak French.)
