I recently visit your property, this for a lunch at your more 'casual' restaurant.
I don't often write letters, however as the over whole experience has let me and my partner so down on this occasion I wanted to share my experience in order hopefully to recover in time as I think it would be too late.
First of all when we arrived, there was nobody to greet or meet us, luckily I know myself a bit around and finally we arrived at the other end. Where again, when noticed from the male person who was at the bar, no welcome was offered.
It almost felt that nobody cared, how embarrassed I felt for my party you may imagine.
We ordered your Business Lunch, and in main courses you offered, a chicken platter with peppers, I must say I didn't feel any , feeling for it. The chicken was dry, tasteless, and even more It was NOT Italian orientated, which I understood was the concept of your restaurant.
After that we decided to take your cheeses as we didn't enjoyed, and we needed to eat something with our bottle of wine.
The cheeses came out, and one of the waitresses after asking, wasn't able to explain which kind of cheeses they where serving, and this all for 12.50 euro? You would expect a little more of creativity for the price paid.
The wine was served in other different 'branded' glass, which didn't work for me.
Overall I was truly disappointed, not so much over the food that was been served, but even the attitude of the staff working on the floor that day. I had the feeling that they didn't where motivated or even wanted to be there.
I often travel over to Belgium, and was so looking forward to your newly opened restaurant however I don't think I will go back.
PS I wrote you a letter directly, so far no knowledge was given. Even worse
Avoid at all costs! Very poor, slow service and the staff are rude and agressive... The food is average at best and the wine is over priced. Nice location but that is about it. I would be surprised if this place stays open longer than a year given the way they treat their customers... You have been warned!
Avoid at all costs!!! The food is average at best and the wine is over-priced. The service is slow and unprofessional. After spending over 1400 euros on a dinner for a group of friends and then moving to the bar to spend even more they had the nerve to come one hour after we had already settled the over-priced bill to say that they 'forgot' to charge us for a coffee, some water and 1 bottle of wine. The manager was aggressive and insulting, treating us like thieves when it was their error! Instead of taking the high road and admitting their mistake they got their measly euros and lost 20 good potential customers in the proccess. I can't see this place lasting longer than a year if they treat customers this way. You have been warned!
Although the decor is excellent, the food, while good, is certainly not worth what is being charged, and the wine seems to have a serious markup; the kind of thing you can get in your local supermarket for €10 is suddenly €80. The largest problem with this restaurant is the service which, when it is pleasant, is exceedingly slow, and when it is prompt is exceedingly rude; our table was harassed and shouted at by a member of staff who had made a mistake on the bill (she was so unpleasant we settled just to get rid of her). It was an insulting end to an otherwise charming evening; I would never consider returning, and advise anyone looking for good food and good wine at the same price to visit the place Chatelain around the corner; there are two proper Italian wine and food bars, as well as a couple of fine traditional Belgian places, including the renowned Quincaillerie, where at least you're treated better than your average McDonald's patron.
A disgrace!
Avoid absolutely the "gastronomic" restaurant unless you want to spend an evening in a restaurant filled with smoke and kitchen odors (yes, the ventilation, smoke extractor does only work at 70% - so every 5 to 10 minutes the smoke alarms go off)
Service is amateurish, food quality is average but excessively expensive for what you get. 180 euro for 2 : 1 pasta & 1 green salad that wasn't fresh.
followed by a tagliata di manzo & a risotto (that tasted like out of a bag) and a bottle of wine + water.
Avoid at all cost.
Great interior design, friendly but clumsy service, food below average. Amuses : Tasteless industrial mozarella and tomatos without any taste neither (what to expect in December ?), cold mini-lumpias. Starters : rice pudding instead of risotto. Main dish: the kitchen forgot to put vegetables on the plates (!), rubber-like bacon. Desert : came directly from the refrigirator. Most people of our group already left before the coffee was finally served. Nothing is good here.
Troppa presunzione!!!!!! NON LO CONSIGLIO VERAMENTE.... Marco

The menu used to be real Italian, with a good price/quality ratio and great service. Went in last night and things had, well, slipped. Five waiters standing around talking to each before one, who was nice enough, figured out we needed menus. One look at the new one was enough for me. If I see dim sum, nem and wok vegetables on the same menu as French and Italian dishes, I head for the door. Which is what we did. Great location, but not going back under any circumstances.
