My wife wanting to eat a tagine, I traveled the Moroccan restaurants on CityPlug and I have carefully read the various reviews ..... so it's doors in the atlas that have won the set .... . Mouthing has started with crispy puff pastry stuffed with shrimp and kefta accompanied by a peanut sauce with eggplant .... rootsy Berber flavor ... journey into the valley of the atlas .... To continue the momentum my wife opted for the ageau tagine with prunes .... as for me I took the famous couscous .... ... succulent lamb tagine melts on the tongue and sauce , ,..... amazing sauce .... Couscous 4 meats, meal, vegetable and sauce served separately ... terribly good and consistent ... We were all delighted two And we even shared our dishes ..... Sweet treats in Moroccan pastries and mint tea for dessert ..... Gustatory memorable evening!
January 7, 2011 very nice decor, friendly staff and very friendly, "no tradesman, WARM!" The dishes we chose were delicious and couscous .... oh lala! is the best that I 've ever eaten in Brussels, the meat was cooked in sauce with vegetables and served ..... the same way a real treat! Mostly everything is separated and the flavor is much less, we really had a very, very good time to advise! I go back
We went with the family this week at the restaurant "La Porte de l'Atlas". The welcome was below all! The only wine available was the most expensive wine on the map, water bottle, commissioned in conjunction with the wine, long before the dishes, was made at the end of the meal. Accompanied by the sauce before the meat was brought when the meat had been eaten for ten minutes etc etc.. I can not even say it was due to a server beyond the world in the restaurant. we were practically alone in the room. To make matters spoiled, prices are extremely high! Huge disappointment for all of us (5 adults).
I do not advise. Good service and nice decor. But the dish served (couscous) were sorely lacking in flavor (some vegetables in the broth, cut slapdash, poorly and somewhat spicy, stale limit). No support (eg olives ,...) unlike other restaurants. I say limit tourist traps. So dirty toilets. Really disappointed.
I heard that staff had been completely changed and since the food and service is getting worse. I was very well received there and a 2 year we all eat well, and the belly dancer was there. We always do the "pub" with word of mouth. I'll go back and I'll see by myself, if this is so catastrophic!
one word ... horrible! it is not worthy of a Moroccan restaurant! ambiane: it was freezing cold and near heating poutant person in the restaurant service: no .. we opened a bottle that we had not asked and forced to drink and get paid! food: a disaster salad (if you can call it a salad) bland without seasoning, not decoration. the dish dry couscous and tagine not taste it was a meat broth and with the taste of rancid butter Beuk ... we have not tried the dessert .. we left and have been in mcdo. has recommended urgently. you have been warned.
