Well, it's a great place! The location is superb, the crossing is very romantic and the more we eat very well and at very correct especially given the location and decor. The service is up to scratch! Location to be abused without moderation. For the crossing, so it must pay 1 € .. but good bcp in places you pay for the locker room or toilet so ... and here is more a job!
I have been a Monday evening, service was impeccable was (unfortunately for those who have not had any luck, perhaps it was a Thursday?). The salmon terrine input is exquisite. The fish is very fresh. Nothing to say about the food. It's exotic and fun to arrive in a restaurant across a lake in a barge under the moonlight. And I advise you to walk on the island after the dinner. I highly recommend this restaurant to all who are looking for a restaurant that comes out of the ordinary.
I went for a corporate event ... They went all out at home: the way with candles on the ground, and crossing "boat" (bring a small room anyway). Interior really nice but noisy. The quality is very good and the price so I think (thank you boss) . I thought the servers used a lot of wine ... nice when you drink without thirst, but it was a bit pushy I think.
We have four people on Thursday, November 18, 2010 ate here and were very enthusiastic operation was very friendly and fast, the food was delicious, the decor is cozy despite the fact that everything is black and white. We can definitely recommend this restaurant, the whole is very special (including boat for over stabbing, and those who complain that you have to pay € 1 for this round is really all-fisted).
I went Sunday, January 31 with my children and I have been very well received by the head of the place. The service was at the height and super smile. The dishes served in a perfect timing was exquisite. The crossing by ferry cost for a euro which is slightly shabby but the good 'driver' is very nice. It is essential to book but the tables are well laid out and large. Congratulations to the new team which is very responsive to customers.

(Malik) more strict but has kept a sense of professionalism. bcp the welcome is warm, the staff most welcoming and friendly .. glance I recommend this endroi to everyone (children, parents, grandparents ... gds) for this magical place the price is favorable)
My wife and I have finally managed to get a table. We have taken our precautions and what a pleasant surprise! The service was excellent not to mention the kitchen that is exactly what we were looking for a good pub food quality in a unique setting! Congratulations and thank you! And for the record, we also three weekends in a row we did not have space ... Good things come to those who wait. Wait for another opportunity!
We wanted to book a table for our daughter's birthday on 17 / 9. When we phoned the restaurant was full. After insisting that the person promises to try to move a table at a later time in order to greet us at the beginning of service. We do not think so when a half-hour later we were told that a table was available and that we were expected quickly. Unbelievable. A true professional and a very good start for an institution that wants to be open to everyone! I can understand that people who have not had our chance to be dissatisfied. But you can not blame a restaurant that just opened to have some hiccups when the other wants to all of Brussels and be the first to set foot in the first place this legendary place. Wait and see! Our rating: Great distinction.
The Chalet is beautiful in the snow. What a joy to see the efforts undertaken since the beginning, staff smiling more since my first visit (late September). The kitchen is like, nothing to say, a single card, good quality. Can not wait for summer to enjoy the terrace. A special mention to the captain is really a character like no other! It seems that the lake thaws in the morning to allow the passage! € 1 passage, ca twice as good!
I would say that the Director of dirty looks really great, I apreciated the way he has received the big heart is really great. The boat is very acceuillent. A real pleasure to come see the head of dirty bliss I and I recommend a lot of person I am very pleased how he has presented the cottage with love. congratulate the deal from us. My wife and I and my children loved it and want venire already returning to the boat and the Director of dirty make them laugh again!
As there that gives zero and I like the extremes, I put 5. Besides, I do not understand the quotes mean. I like it all. I found more than I wanted on the island Robinson. The smiles of children, respect the site, the colors of autumn in the Bois de la Cambre. Nothing is worth it all to pay tribute to those who have done everything possible to reopen the site. In addition it is super good . Too bad for those who have not had any luck.
we arrived at Ixelles there is little time for Valentine's Day .... my husband had the surprise of the small romantic stroll under the snow in the woods of the arches .. and then the ferry that took us to the cottage. .. decorated with a pretty red heart! the warm welcome of a smuggler put us in joy and then the arrival in the chalet "warm" us ..... happy valentine menu was very pleasant the palace and yes, expensive but very very good and tasty! The service without fault .... all attentive and customer care .... I had a wonderful and intimate evening a bit unusual

MIRACLE !!!!!!! ......... and friendly service, beautiful full color plates (sea bream), my colleague also loved it, change ??????( cook brussels sprouts have some very good ) I retournrrai frankly, to be followed so .....
I read some comments and I feel that we are not talking about the same place. I firmly believe that even the illiterate who wrote some comments "like a true" (to quote him) are irredeemably angry with mankind than they are with spelling. And, reading these words full of venom confirms my idea that "he who sows the wind reaps the whirlwind." Because for me, I had lunch with my wife one afternoon in this enchanting . We each took a slice different but just as good as each other. And we had a good time so we decided to come back the same night with our children (21, 19 and 17) who found the place sublime. Please bring back this magic place and how!
Let us not deny our pleasure! The place is simply fabulous. We have also ate very well. Relaxed and efficient service. The few small hiccups are not serious to put on the account of a team that starts and probably unexpected success. I'll be back very soon, hopefully there is room ;-) Daniel
Me, I went there this weekend and I found the place simply magical! Super glad that this place will be reopened. The children loved the pancakes :-) excellent and the weather was there! But I have not had any problems booking because I was advised to book and make sure that the restaurant was open (yes, apparently The restaurant closes when there are private parties and the restaurant is often full!). The council therefore for all: call before coming, here is the issue (because it is found by cons yet on the net :-( ): 02 372 92 92.
I'm not totally disagree with most of the notices ... My father had booked a table for the birthday of my mother and when I saw all the reviews on this site I was really afraid that it is missed ... But finally I found the staff very nice, to come and advise on wine (and good) without even having to ask. The food was delicious and well presented: I loved the square of veal and vegetables originals. Quite generous too! By cons is true that some abused us pay for the ride "ferry" that lasts only 2 seconds and not even enjoyable by the weather (wind and rain galore). But there is a small récomensé candy back! In short I do not know whether I am not so difficult or is it because I really expected worse, but I was pleasantly surprised, and I would not say not to go back!
Well done. Reviving this place full of memories was a challenge. The atmosphere and decor are able to satisfy both the nostalgic and the modernists. It also works well for a pancake on Sunday afternoon with the kids for a nice evening group. The food and service are in category three stars but the only place justifies a fourth.
A very enjoyable return to the places of my childhood ... The Chalet Robinson rises from the ashes with new qualities, a decoration to the height of authenticity and modernity combine subtly, a warm, responsive service and kitchen with j 'I was delighted ... I adored the food is delicious, the price is equivalent to the service. for those who have not had any luck vis a vis the home, from 2010 a new leader replaces another (which neither knew anything : s) .. this is her new member my father who loves his job and I urge you to do little in this magic place: D
We went there for afternoon tea one Sunday afternoon. The servers were nice and the pancakes were good. We can not judge the quality of the restaurant. But we also have been unpleasantly surprised by the price of the crossing. One euro per person, it's ridiculously expensive. Maybe this is not to be attacked by people who would not use the services not the cottage?
€ 1 ... to have the right to go eat? It's a scam ... It's not pure customer has to pay staff, but BOSS! We booked a table for our son's birthday this 16 / 9. When we arrived the restaurant was booked for a club and we have been properly repacked without the slightest excuse. A lack of professionalism and a bad start for an institution that wants to show some class! Do they intend to be limited to groups or will they be able to accommodate a decent individuals? Wait and see! Our rating: ZERO! A strongly advise against it !!!!!! a real similar.
The place is beautiful, a place full of memories and history. But the restaurant is very expensive to restore good but not transcendent. The service leaves something to be desired and the kindness of some employees. Too bad also that the move is paying for people who have a reservation at restaurants ... do it once for the curious but not worth (for now ) some attention more.
You decide ... My husband surprised me .. He booked a table for two ... super! Arrived on the scene: first surprise not mentioned when booking .. piuvoir to access the restore .. you will spend 1 € per person ... prices for the crossing to the island! Even if not much ... frankly I almost turned back! ... Fortunately, the setting is magnificent as the rest .... Second surprise: when taking control ... I ask the waitress for a clarification on a platter ... Ceviche (= cooked seafood only by chemical reaction with lemon) ... which is actually appeared on my plate in a carpaccio of Saint-Jacques ... Apparently the leaders or editors menus are struggling with the names of their dishes ... cons from the same dish was excellent to taste ... Third and final surprise: when the service of our flat nice waitress getting tangled brush them completely and posting very sérieusment a dish for the other (the ceviche for the foie gras and vice versa)!! What a great confusion!! Getting there ... yes! but only for the frame! With you to make your own opinion ... Enjoy it!
I had the opportunity to go eat with friends, and unfortunately I have not been conquered. The layout of the restaurant is very nice because they let a lot of space between tables, for the service cons was awful. The servers do not know their business, they constantly forget orders, whether for the drink, drinks during the meal or even dishes. In my case one of the guests had to wait a quarter hour after the rest of the table has been served because they simply forgot all avaint prepare a dish. Suffice to say that this steak was what the bluest I've ever seen so far. The menu is classic and aléchante, but for the price there is far more value for their money as the portions are small. So I would advise this place especially for the framework that is of course lovely, and would advise rather spend the lunch and dinner, the card price lunch seemed much more suited to the service. And then this season, there is much left to do at night.
We went to the cottage because we can not say as many bad reviews. a place that was waiting for years, a story was the best revival. And no, more charm, more than anything magic. I fell in love with this place the first time i saw it! I was there on July 31 for a wedding of my friends i enjoyed the time i was there! It's just perfect! I'll definitely come back :-)
