I returned from my 5 years business stay in south-east Asia, since then I've been looking for nice Asian restaurant in Brussels, but unfortunately 90% of the Asian restaurants I've visited are not the real Asian, all we can have and most of the people says "It's good!" actually they are fake. If I've never stayed in Asian I wouldn't say that! During the years I stayed in Asia, I became an Asian food addict...
This restaurant provides the real Asian tastes, many dishes in this restaurant you won't able find them in other (fake) Asian restaurants.
I visited this restaurant by accident (actually I was lost in that area), so I had my accidently dinner in there, It surprise me! I never thought I could find a real Asian restaurant in a calm street in Brussels; their foods are really Asian tastes! Since my first visit, it becomes one of my favorite restaurant in Brussels.
Their boss says "they cooks Asian-Asian food not Euro-Asian food".
Just a simple phrase but tells everything!
Their price is reasonable, have luch menu, take away. Services are nice and friendly, small resto but clean, chill-out atmosphere, have serveral choices for vegetarian. They also have Asian artists' paintings hanging on walls.
I'll highlight their "Eggplant Hot-Pot", "5 favorited spicy ribs", "Redbead Ice-cream dessert"; they also have many traditional dishes are worth to be recommanded too.
The food here is very well cooked, great flavors on all the 7 dishes we tried, and it offers a different choice of menu than the usual chinese restaurant. Just the fact that they have several dishes with tofu makes it a very good vegetarian alternative. The portions are perhaps little smaller than they could be but not too small and with these prices you can get a starter as well. For me the best chinese-asian i have tried in Brx. We were all very happy with the food and i will definitely go back. Simple and nice decor and very nice service.
