For being a rather well known establishment with actually quality products it is to me a mystery how the service level (staff) can be so abysmally arrogant and lousy. If I was rating only the food I would recommend the place. However, when taking into account the completely worthless, hyper arrogant, slow and disinterested staff I have to admit that I have on several occasions discouraged a number of friends from trying this cafe.
As Brussels is a city with plenty of cafes, I certainly would recommend a rather large number of other places instead of this cafe.

The products (sandwiches, cakes, breads and others) are delicious ... but I quite agree with Greg K.. is that the quality is really worth the price???? Enigma ...

Too much! I experienced the same situation. Walking in with my mother fan Sablon antiques, hungry, I had to nibble something. Bam, I see to my right Wittamer, Bim I choose a tiny sandwich, boom, I go to the checkout. 7 or 8 € for 3 pieces. Ok, it was good, but at that price, still!

The staff is very friendly and the shop is quite posh. Yet I have rarely tasted so delicious pastries than Wittamer, and, in my view, to match their price.

You will get to know the sinuous meanders of my life ... but hey, come on, I'm starting. I found myself last year, and this weekend for some affiliate, vendor on a stand Sablon antiques market. Do not ask me what was I doing here! In short, I went from time to time seek the order sandwiches for my colleagues. An act of revelation content policy: how can we pay as much what we can find, often as good elsewhere? If Wittamer remains an enigma for me finally placed in a folder appears under the name of snobbery, with - particularly - from Marcolini.

Somewhat agree to recommend against the place: overpriced, and unfortunately not 100% perfect (but does perfection exist?). And cool to see the gates next to the trash Ste Anne probably does not want ...
