I have been to De 7 Schaken several times. It has a lovely menu that specialises in local cuisine. If you are up for food that's unpretentious, great, and tastes home made, this is the place for you. It also has a separate bar that is smoking friendly (the restaurant is not). It is also open late for food, which can be a life saver. I highly recommend the pigs cheeks if they are on the menu, they are divine!

I've been here several times to enjoy the fair and very tasty cuisine. The service is top notch and the portions are more than sufficient evidence of a cook who knows what good cooking means. For me the place to be for a fun and tasty meal. The best in town.
